Client: LEAN BUSSINESS CONSULTANTS Industry: Business Accounting & Finance Location: Cape Town South Africa Date: July 2021 Project Overview Lean Business Consulting is a company that specialised in: Company Registration; Accounting; Taxation; Financial Management: Payroll Service; and Brand Strategy, Operations Management. Lean asked us to revamp their logo, as well as lifting up their corporate identity and visual branding. The Goal was to change the font or the logotype, and then secondly to come with a fresh digital campaign for social social media. Solution This actually a fun project, because the logo was firstly designed by us in 2015, years later we've realised that the official font used for the brand did not look alright, because for some of us we thought it looked like a Magazine or News Paper Company logo. Therefore we've decided to go for a classic and global font which is Helvetica. Looking at the corporate Identity and visual branding we've decided to bring orange as a complimentary colour to the brand, and we have created new imagery style and graphic elements to be part of the visual. A Congolese National Creative Competition or RTNC new logo Design Title: RNTC Logo Proposal Location: Congo - Kinshasa Service: Custom Logo & Brand Identity Date: Jun 2021 Overview This project was based on a competition which was launched by the Minister of Information & Communication from the DRC. The aim of the competition was to come up with a brand new logo and also create an effective visual identity for the RTNC. Overall the RTNC is lacking a proper visual branding, and that is not the measure problem. In our point of view, internally with the organisation the logo should not be the only thing to consider, because there are a lot of things that should be improved with the entire organisation. Appropriate: We’ve created a logo that is in relation with the Broadcasting industry. 2. Distinctive: We’ve created a logo that is unique and not generic, but with a patriotic colours combination that represents the DRC’s country flag, the morphological mix is composed of a broadcasting antenna with radial waves and Okapi strips within the DRC map 3. Title: Going to Goma Client: 243ProNetwork Location: Johannesburg South Africa Service: Campaign Date: June 2021 Overview Going To Goma is a fundraising campaign created by 243ProNetwork. Goma, the capital of the North Kivu province in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, is home to Mount Nyiragongo which is an active stratovolcano with an elevation of 3,470 m. Sadly on 23 May 2021 the volcano once again erupted leaving a trail of poverty, fear, and the displacement of people. To date the death toll is over thirty and counting; the volcano’s last eruption in 2002 claimed at least 250 lives and made over 120,000 residents homeless The aim of this campaign was to also partner with organisations that focus on ensuring access to clean and safe water, access to medical services, access to basic personal hygiene products and, access to temporary shelter. Solutions At Giant Portfolio we always try achieve a clinical finish on the brands we touch. Looking at this project; we first started with revamping Yellow Star logo, which pretty messy in term of colours and geometric angles, as well as the typography and fonts being used on the logo.
