Overview
This project was based on a competition which was launched by the Minister of Information & Communication from the DRC. The aim of the competition was to come up with a brand new logo and also create an effective visual identity for the RTNC.
Overall the RTNC is lacking a proper visual branding, and that is not the measure problem. In our point of view, internally with the organisation the logo should not be the only thing to consider, because there are a lot of things that should be improved with the entire organisation.

For example; a strategic plan on creating exciting local content and entertainment should be reviewed, new equipment and effective staff training programs should be implemented in every province and cities, critical events and news should be immediately reported right away on spot or regardless of the location where the events are taking place.
Solution
The Logo
3 important strategy we’ve applied on designing the logo and identity system design for the RTNC Logo was the following:
1. Appropriate: We’ve created a logo that is in relation with the Broadcasting industry.
2. Distinctive: We’ve created a logo that is unique and not generic, but with a patriotic colours combination that represents the DRC’s country flag, the morphological mix is composed of a broadcasting antenna with radial waves and Okapi strips within the DRC map
3. Simple: We’ve created an Iconic logo that is visually timeless which makes the logo memorable, and more modern.

The Brand Campaign
We decided to come up with a promising slogan for the campaign as TOUJOURS LIBOSO , which means "Always the First" in order to reposition the RTNC Brand, to always be the first to be there for its nation, in terms of any critical events, in terms of any breaking news, in terms of creating the best and innovating local entertainment in Films, Magazine, Music, Documentaries, Sports, Education and more.
