THE BRIEF Let’s Talk Somm by Pearl Oliver-MBumba approached The Giant Portfolio to create an entirely brand new Logo and visual identity system that look corporate and more professional with high standards and consistency along with the off-line and Online platforms. THE SOLUTION In order for us to create a new logo and identity system for Let’s Talk Somm; we come up with the best and unique logos that will bring great value to the Let’s Talk Somm visual brand as well as its upcoming Website. Therefore our solution was about to first design logos; by having a showcasing a talk or dialogue concept of wine and acholic beverages industries. 3 important strategy we’ve applied on designing the logo and identity system design for Let’s Talk Somm was the following: 1. Appropriation: We’ve created logos that symbolize wine tasting and talk or dialogue and knowledge. 2. Distinctive: We’ve created logos that are unique and not generic, with a great composition by applying a Golden Ratio to balance the hierarchy in terms of visibility and legibility. We also wanted the logo to represent a sense of dialogue about wine tasting. 3. Simplicity: We’ve created logos that are visually timeless which makes the Let’s Talk Somm brand to be corporate, professional, and memorable to anyone who will use the online or offline platforms.     Logo & Corporate Identity Title: Buffalo City Municipality TV Sector: Television Location: South Africa Date: December 2020 The Brief Buffalo City Municipality Television asked us to come with a good logo that can look relevant to the television industry. The Problem - Looking at the images on the right and side; the logo looks too busy, there are so many things applied to it. The best Logos in the world are too simple. The Solution. 1. Appropriation: Based on our visual research, we have maintained a strategy on creating marks that appropriate to the television industry by being inspired by the world best broadcast and television brands 2. Distinctive: We’ve created logos that are unique and not generic, by trying to communicate a message of television, connection, and online live recording. 3. Simplicity: We’ve created marks that are visually timeless, and memorable, by maintaining the concept of using the BCM in bold letters with an integration of a camera icon within the letter C and The Network Connection Icon.

    Logo Design & Digital Branding Client/ 243 Pro Network Sector/ Professional Photography & Videography Location/Cape Town South Africa Agency/ The Giant Portfolio Service/ CI | Branding | Digital Creative Director / Cedric Kamunga Cikusa Founded by Patrice Efile, Kiss Media Production is Professional Photography & Videography studio specialize in commercial and, portrait photography, and also best known for music videos. Kiss Media Production wanted a new logo that portrays the following message: “We in the process of Revamping and we want to appeal to our customers both in the Corporate World and Entertainment industry.” The Solution In order for us to create a new logo and identity system for Kiss Media Production; we wanted to maintain the letter K as the main character or focal point on the logo icon, and we’ve also implemented a morphological matrix of a Camera, and Film strip. 3 very important strategy we’ve applied on designing the logo and identity system design for Kiss Media Production was the following: 1. Appropriation: We’ve created a logo that is in relation to the film production industry. 2. Distinctive: We’ve created a logo that is unique and not generic, with a composition by applying a Golden ratio to balance hierarchic in terms of legibility. 3. Simplicity: We’ve created a logo that is visually timeless which makes the logo to be memorable, minimalistic, and modern.

    Logo & Corporate Identity Title: Woch Engineering & Supplies Sector: Mining Location: Southern Africa | South Africa & Zambia Date: December 2020 The Brief As a long-existing and well-established company organization, Ampuch Group SARL ask us to work together on re-branding their visual brand identity, with its new name called WOCH ENGINEERING & SUPPLIERS. We were given a complete trust to come up with new Logo Marks, and visuals identities that are similar and consistent to the current Ampuch brand but with a brand new Fresh look. The Solution. 1. Appropriation: Based on our visual research, we have maintained a strategy of creating marks that are unique and appropriate to the mining & engineering industry. 2. Distinctive: We’ve created logos that are unique and not generic, by trying to communicate a message of mining and engineering solutions, with keeping the amazing colors combination of bees, honey, and its nest, and also including the earthy color texture, that all together stand for Woch company value and concept. 3. Simplicity: The best logos in the world are too simple. We’ve created marks that are visually timeless, and memorable, by keeping the concept of minimalism by using the letter W integrated within negative space a gear silhouette that represents engineering solutions. Then secondly we’ve also tried to come up with the abbreviation of WES marks that typographically joined together in a sophisticated and complex way.

For info visit: https://243pronetwork.org/ The Brief The Giant Portfolio approached 243ProNetwork to create an entirely brand new Logo and visual identity system that look corporate and more professional with high standards and consistency along with the off-line and Online platforms. The Solution In order for us to create a new logo and identity system for 243 Pro Network; we come up with the best and unique logo that will bring great value to the 243ProNetwork visual brand as well as its upcoming Mobile App. Therefore our solution was about to first redesign the logo; by keeping the same concept of the hands shake icon that stands for partnership, Network, collaboration, and connecting. We were inspired by the following corporate logos: Linked-in, Google, Android, Hire DNA, and Aerotek. 3 important strategy we’ve applied on designing the logo and identity system design for 243ProNetwork was the following: 1. We also wanted the logo to look patriotic by using the Congo Kinshasa Flag rich colors. 3. Simplicity: We’ve created logos that are visually timeless which makes the 243 Pro Network brand to be corporate, professional, and memorable to anyone who will use the online platforms including the mobile App.

Through the platform, users may access services, bid, sell, or purchase from online stores and review services. Travel asks us to create to improve their logo and visual identity system for their landing page and upcoming digital app. The main concept was to create a logo with the letter "T" as a monogram that will stand out and fit on various branding platforms. The Solution. 1. Appropriation: Based on our visual research, we have maintained a strategy of creating the mark that is unique and appropriate to the Freelancing App and online platforms or Industries. 2. Distinctive: We’ve created a logo that is unique and not generic, by trying to communicate a message of communication, collaboration, and work. 3. Based on these logos below; we wanted to maintain the traditional visual representation of barbershops such as the scissors and the mustache as the main character in the Icon, and we’ve also implemented the latter M as well. 3 important strategy we’ve applied to design the logo and identity system design for Mother City Barbers was the following: 1. Appropriate: We’ve created a logo that is in relation to the Barbershop industry. 2. Distinctive: We’ve created a logo that is unique and not generic, minimalistic, and classic just all in black as it was requested. 3. Simplicity: We’ve created a logo that is visually timeless which makes the logo to be memorable, and modern by incorporating the table mountain within a mustache including the iconic scissors as an iconic classic and traditional barbershop tool.
